Daily misting is required to keep the branches fresh and hydrated, especially if the wreath is hung outdoors or in direct sunlight. Try not to mist the wreath while in direct sunlight as evaporation occurs much more readily. Many florists will have nourishing sprays that will help feed the stem ends, keeping your wreath healthy longer. Also mist the wreath with an anti-transpirant. This substance can also be purchased from florists and coats the wreath in a colorless and odorless clear film that slows moisture transpiration from the needles. When misting, make sure to cover the needles as well as the stems.
